- A fingertip test is a quick check, not a diagnosis. If your value is high, the doctor will explain which tests confirm it.
- Very strong thirst with passing a lot of urine, vomiting, abdominal pain, fast breathing, drowsiness or confusion need help straight away: go to an emergency department, do not wait for the event.
