Aura Medical Clinic

One figure cannot show whether two arm-lift quotations describe the same operation. Aura Medical Clinic explains that an individual price depends on the area and extent of excess skin, complexity, selected surgeon, anaesthesia, materials and included care. The quotation is prepared after consultation.

This guide explains how to read those factors. It publishes no fee, package or saving and does not replace surgical assessment.

Skin extent and the length of the plan

For some people, the concern is limited near the armpit; for others, excess skin continues towards the elbow. A broader treatment area may require a different plan, more operative work and a longer incision. A shorter scar is not automatically the better proposal: incision extent needs to correspond to the amount and distribution of skin being assessed.

Ask the quotation to identify the proposed area and extent. Without that information, two totals may not represent the same scope.

Skin, localised fat and combined procedures

An arm lift addresses excess skin and upper-arm contour. Localised fat may be discussed in some cases, but fat removal does not necessarily replace skin removal when laxity is the main concern. If the proposal adds another step or operation, ask why, and how it changes the scope, anaesthesia, care and quotation.

Do not compare an arm-lift-only proposal with one containing another procedure until each component is clear.

The selected surgeon and individual plan

Aura works with several experienced Albanian and Italian surgeons. The appropriate surgeon is discussed with the patient according to the case, goals and budget. The surgeon’s name, role and planned extent should therefore be clear in the documents you receive.

A change in surgeon or operative plan may change the quotation. Ask for a written explanation rather than assuming every proposal is equivalent.

Anaesthesia, setting and materials

A quotation should explain how anaesthesia, materials and perioperative care are treated. Aura says surgery takes place at the clinic and the pathway includes consultation, preoperative preparation, the operation, postoperative monitoring and reviews until the team confirms the patient may go home.

Ask which elements are included and which are listed separately. That is more useful than comparing two totals without understanding their contents.

Follow-up and postoperative support

Arm movement can affect practical recovery planning. Clarify reviews, wound care, supportive garments when recommended, the contact route and how return to activity will be assessed. A timetable found online cannot determine your healing, and this article sets no date for work, driving, exercise or travel.

If quotations differ in the number or type of reviews and support, record that difference before comparing price.

A like-for-like comparison table

Question What to identify in the quotation

Who operates? The named surgeon and their role in follow-up.
Which anaesthesia is planned? Whether it is included and who provides it.
Which materials are included? Any material or garment stated in the proposal.
Which care is included? Preparation, monitoring, reviews and contact arrangements.
What may change the total? A revised extent, plan or need identified after assessment.

Before accepting a quotation

  • ☐ The area, procedure and surgeon are identified.
  • ☐ I understand the proposed extent and the scar trade-off.
  • ☐ Every additional procedure is explained separately.
  • ☐ Anaesthesia, materials and included care are clear.
  • ☐ I know what could require an updated quotation.
  • ☐ I am not choosing only by the lowest total or a promised result.
