Aura Medical Clinic

Skin Boosters, dermal filler and mesotherapy can arise in the same conversation about injectable treatments, but they do not necessarily begin with the same goal. At Aura, Skin Boosters focus on hydration and skin quality; hyaluronic acid filler is used for volume and contour; and mesotherapy describes a microinjection technique whose formulation and purpose vary with the skin and the plan.

The useful question is not which treatment is best overall. It is what change you want to discuss: skin quality and hydration, volume and contour, or a formulation suited to a particular goal. A consultation relates that goal to the area, anatomy, skin condition and suitable product.

The difference at a glance

What are you comparing? Skin Boosters Dermal filler Mesotherapy
Main aim Hydration, skin quality and appearance. Adding or restoring volume and defining contour. Skin aims according to the formulation and assessment.
What shapes the plan Product, area, skin condition and plan. Area, anatomy, product, amount and goal. Formulation, application method, area and goal.
How it is described A category of injectable skin products. Injectable material placed in soft tissues. A microinjection technique.

These are starting points for a conversation, not a way to choose a product or amount yourself. Some products may share ingredients, but the product name, composition, area and protocol establish the real distinction.

When the concern is skin quality

Skin Boosters may be discussed when the goal concerns hydration, texture, elasticity, freshness or radiance. Many products in this category contain hyaluronic acid, but composition and use vary by product. Their main purpose is not to add volume or change contours in the way traditional filler does.

When the concern is volume or contour

Dermal filler is used to add or restore volume, define contours and soften certain lines or irregularities. The consultation may cover lip volume and contour, symmetry, facial proportions or selected areas of volume loss. Product, amount and technique are decided after assessing the area and anatomy; your preference is part of the discussion, but an amount is not set in advance.

When the question concerns formulation and microinjections

Mesotherapy is a technique involving microinjections into the skin. Formulations may contain vitamins, minerals, amino acids, hyaluronic acid or other ingredients, and the selected composition is explained before treatment. Mesotherapy is not the name of one product, so the formulation, application method and plan can vary according to the skin’s needs.

Safety and consultation matter just as much

For each of these discussions, the skin, medical history, allergies, medicines and recent procedures are assessed. Report active infection or inflammation, bleeding problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding, uncontrolled conditions and previous reactions to injections or ingredients. Do not change medicines without professional guidance.

Redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, itching or temporary small marks at the application site may occur after injections. Aftercare instructions depend on the product and area. Results, session planning and price are established after assessment; they vary according to the product, skin condition, area and individual response.

Five questions to ask at consultation

  1. Does my concern mainly relate to skin hydration and quality, volume and contour, or another goal?
  2. Which product or formulation is being discussed, and what is it intended to change?
  3. Is the treatment name a product category, injectable material or application technique?
  4. What are the risks, aftercare and signs that mean I should contact the clinic?
  5. How will the area, session plan, follow-up and individual quotation be decided?

A short checklist to save

  • ☐ I have noted the area and change I want to discuss.
  • ☐ I will explain whether skin quality, volume or contour is my priority.
  • ☐ I have a list of medicines, allergies and previous treatments.
  • ☐ I will ask for clarity about the proposed product, formulation or technique.
  • ☐ I will understand the risks, aftercare and follow-up plan before deciding.
