Aura Medical Clinic

A facial peel and a professional peptide mask are different categories of care. A peel uses an exfoliation product and protocol selected after assessment of the skin. A peptide mask is a professional topical application whose formula and contact time should relate to the condition and objective under discussion.

It is not accurate to describe a mask as a lighter peel or a peel as a stronger mask. A useful comparison starts with the concern, skin history, exact product and aftercare required by each proposal.

Key differences

Point Facial peel Professional peptide mask
Category An exfoliation protocol with a product selected after assessment. A topical protocol using a defined professional mask formula.
What must be named Peel type, product or substance, area and proposed depth. Mask name, principal formulation, area and method of use.
What shapes the plan Skin condition, history, product, intensity and aftercare. Skin condition, sensitivity, formula, application and aftercare.
What is reviewed Response, tolerance and whether product or interval should change. Response, tolerance and whether formula or use should change.

The table does not determine which treatment suits you. It identifies what the consultation should clarify.

A peel requires clarity about type and intensity

The word peel does not identify the product or depth. Aura connects selection with skin analysis, the concern and tolerance. Ask which type of peel is being discussed, which product or substance it uses, which area it covers and which aftercare it requires.

Do not select an acid, concentration or intensity yourself. Recent products, sun exposure, irritation and other procedures can change the conversation. Give the specialist an accurate list of what you use and what has been done recently.

A peptide mask requires identification of the formula

The term peptide mask does not describe one universal formula. Ask for the product name, principal ingredients, reason for its selection and proposed application time. Clarify whether it is offered as a standalone session or as one part of a broader plan.

A topical protocol is not automatically suitable for every skin type. Report sensitivity, allergies, previous reactions and active products. Do not assume that the word peptide guarantees a result or removes the need for assessment.

A shared objective does not make them interchangeable

Either service may be mentioned when somebody wants to discuss texture, tone or the general appearance of the skin. Their product, intensity, application and care still differ. A broad objective cannot tell you which protocol should be selected.

If both appear in a proposal, ask whether they are alternatives, separate steps or possible parts of a plan delivered at different times. Request the reason and review point. A list of available services is not a recommendation to combine them.

Compare aftercare and the review point

For either proposal, request written instructions about preparation, active skincare, sun exposure, cleansing and the changes that should be reported to the clinic. Do not use a recovery period found online as your personal timetable.

Ask when response will be reviewed and what could change the next session. A useful plan states not only what is applied, but also how the team decides whether to continue, adapt or stop.
