Icoone Laser Med: what should you ask before your consultation?
A useful Icoone Laser Med consultation should begin with the change you want to discuss and the exact body area—not a session number or a result borrowed from somebody else’s experience. Aura Medical Clinic uses Icoone for goals that may relate to the appearance of cellulite, skin quality and elasticity, drainage or support for body contouring. That list does not establish which goal, programme or plan is suitable for you.
Use these questions to understand what is being assessed, why a programme is proposed, how response will be reviewed and what the quotation covers. Your individual history and assessment take priority over a generic online plan.
Consultation map
| Topic | What to prepare | What to ask Aura to explain |
|---|---|---|
| Concern | The change you have noticed, without diagnosing it yourself. | Which objective can reasonably be assessed? |
| Area | The precise part of the body you want to discuss. | Which area is included in the proposal, and why? |
| History | Health conditions, pregnancy, recent procedures, wounds, infection, unexplained pain or swelling, and circulation concerns. | Is another assessment or clearance needed first? |
| Programme | Questions about Icoone without selecting technical settings yourself. | Which programme is proposed and how does it relate to the goal? |
| Sessions | Commitments that could affect an individual schedule. | How are session number, spacing and review decided? |
| Aftercare | Products, activities or other procedures already planned. | Which instructions apply to my area and programme? |
| Quotation | The area and plan discussed at consultation. | What is included and what might change the amount? |
The table organises the conversation. It is not a self-assessment for suitability.
Define one primary objective
Before the appointment, describe the change you want to discuss in ordinary language. Is your main concern the appearance of cellulite, skin quality or elasticity, the contour of an area, or a tissue-related sensation that needs assessment? If several points matter, rank them rather than combining them into one vague request.
This prevents the word “contouring” from becoming an undefined promise. Two people may use the same term while referring to different areas, starting points and expectations. Aura also does not present Icoone as a substitute for weight loss, so do not ask the consultation to predict kilograms or centimetres.
Identify the area precisely. If you want to discuss more than one body area, ask whether each requires a separate assessment and whether the proposed quotation covers every area mentioned.
Ask which Icoone programme is being proposed
Aura describes Icoone as mechanical microstimulation of the tissues. The Laser Med configuration may combine this with laser and LED components, depending on the chosen programme. “May” matters: the treatment name alone does not identify the programme or combination that would be used in your case.
Ask:
- Which programme is being considered for my area?
- What is the purpose of that programme?
- Does the proposal involve mechanical microstimulation alone or Laser Med components as well?
- Which decisions are made only after the area and my tolerance have been assessed?
- How will the team decide whether to continue, adapt or stop the programme?
Do not use an article to select intensity, duration or application settings. These belong to the individual plan.
Prepare the history that may affect assessment
Make a concise list of health conditions, medicines, allergies and recent procedures that the team asks you to disclose. Aura’s service information specifically says to report pregnancy, active wounds or infections, unexplained pain or swelling, circulation problems and recent procedures.
This information does not let you clear yourself for treatment. It enables the team to decide whether the appointment should proceed, be postponed or require another professional’s assessment or clearance.
If Icoone is being considered before or after another procedure, ask for the intended purpose and timing to be explained. Do not assume that two available services should automatically be combined.
Request a session plan with a review point
Aura states that duration, intensity, number of sessions and spacing depend on the area and individual plan. The better question is therefore not only “How many sessions?”, but “What supports the initial proposal and when will it be reviewed?”.
Clarify:
- whether the starting proposal is one session or a course;
- when the area and response will be reassessed;
- how the starting point and progress will be documented;
- which findings could change the programme or schedule; and
- what happens if the goal, tolerance or response differs from the initial expectation.
A session count is not a result guarantee. Reassessment should be a defined part of the plan rather than an afterthought at the end of a course.
Clarify sensations, aftercare and contact
Aura explains that tolerance is monitored during treatment. Temporary redness, tenderness or a tissue reaction may occur afterwards. A general possibility does not predict your experience or establish a universal recovery period.
Ask what may be expected for your programme and area, what should be reported and how to contact the clinic if you have a concern. Obtain written guidance about care of the area, activities, products and any other planned treatment or procedure.
Do not alter instructions or add another treatment because somebody else followed a different plan. Your aftercare should match what was assessed and performed for you.
Make the quotation match the clinical discussion
Aura says cost depends on the area, programme, duration and number of sessions. Ask for those elements to be clear before comparing figures.
Confirm whether the quotation covers one area or several, one session or a course, when reassessment occurs and which changes would require a revised quotation. This guide publishes no price or package.
Twelve questions to save
- What is the main objective being assessed?
- Which exact area is included?
- Is there a concern that requires a different assessment before Icoone?
- Which programme is proposed, and why?
- Which parts of the technology are used in that programme?
- Which health information or recent procedures should I report?
- What could postpone, alter or stop a session?
- How are intensity and duration selected without using a standard plan?
- How are the number and spacing of sessions decided?
- When and how will response be reviewed?
- What aftercare and contact instructions will I receive?
- What does the written quotation include?
