After the safety check, the operator fits the garment and selects the programme. Compression is applied in cycles while the garment’s fit, skin, sensation and patient comfort are monitored. The duration and number of sessions depend on the goal and reassessment.
A feeling of pressure or temporary redness may occur after treatment. Patients receive instructions on skin care, activity and symptoms that should prompt contact with the clinic. Any new or worsening pain or swelling should be assessed.
