Aura Medical Clinic offers FUE hair transplantation in Tirana, with planning tailored to the pattern of hair loss, donor area and the patient’s goal. FUE aims to achieve natural-looking results, control of direction and density, no linear scar associated with the strip method and faster recovery.
What is FUE?
FUE is a surgical technique in which follicular units are collected individually from the donor area. The grafts are prepared and then implanted in the recipient area according to the planned hairline, angle and distribution.
Because the follicles are collected one by one, FUE does not create a linear incision. However, small scars may remain in the donor area, and their visibility varies according to the skin, healing and hair length.
Assessment before FUE
The consultation assesses:
- the diagnosis and progression of hair loss;
- the density and quality of the donor area;
- the extent of the recipient area;
- the characteristics of the hair and scalp;
- previous procedures and medical history;
- long-term goals and expectations.
Preserving the donor area is central to the plan because its supply is limited.
How the procedure works
After planning, follicular units are extracted individually from the designated donor area. The grafts are checked, prepared and implanted in the recipient area, following the plan for direction, angle and distribution.
The number of grafts, timing and implantation method are determined for each case. After the procedure, patients receive instructions for the donor area and transplanted grafts.
Recovery and care
Tenderness, swelling, redness or scabs may occur in the days following the procedure. Instructions on washing, sleeping, activity, scalp protection and check-ups are provided individually. The time needed to return to activities varies according to the extent of the procedure and the patient’s response.
Results
Transplanted hair grows gradually. The final appearance depends on the donor area, number and quality of grafts, planning, implantation, healing and future loss of natural hair.
New growth usually begins to become visible from the third month. It continues to develop gradually over the following months, and the final result is assessed at around month 12.
FUE cost
The quote is determined after the consultation and is based on the area, donor supply, complexity, planned number of grafts or sessions and the services included.
