If you are comparing rhinoplasty quotations, a single figure does not tell you the whole plan. The individual price depends on the type of procedure, the complexity of the case and the selected surgeon. Before comparing the final amount, you therefore need to understand what is being proposed for you.
At Aura Medical Clinic, the quotation is prepared after the consultation. The surgeon is chosen together with the patient, according to the case, goals and budget. This article helps you prepare questions for that conversation; it does not give an assumed price for your case.
Three factors to clarify
The type of procedure
The discussion may concern the appearance of the nose, structures affecting breathing or a combined plan. The need for functional correction is determined after specialist assessment.
The practical question is: “What objective and what procedure does my quotation cover?” This connects the price to the specific plan, not just the word “rhinoplasty”.
The complexity of the case
The plan is prepared according to the structure of the nose, facial features and the goals discussed. The individual quotation reflects what is determined during this assessment.
Ask: “Which elements of my case affect the plan and the price?” Request an explanation for your own case, without assuming that someone else’s quotation covers the same procedure.
The selected surgeon
At Aura, selecting the surgeon is part of the discussion with the patient. The case, goals and budget are considered together.
Ask: “Which surgeon is this quotation based on, and how does that choice relate to my case?” The procedure name and price do not replace this clarification.
Appearance, breathing or both?
Before the consultation, write down what led you to seek an assessment. Would you like to discuss shape, profile, size or symmetry? Do you also have a concern about breathing that you want to tell the specialist about?
These are points for discussion, not a way to determine for yourself whether surgery is needed. The plan and realistic goals are clarified during the assessment. When reading a quotation, check that it refers to the specific plan you discussed.
A table for comparing quotations
Copy the questions below for each quotation you consider. They do not mean that all these steps are automatically included in every price.
| What to clarify | A question you can ask |
|---|---|
| The plan | What is the objective and type of procedure in this quotation? |
| The surgeon | Which surgeon does the quoted price relate to? |
| Consultation and preparation | What is included, and what, if anything, is paid for separately? |
| The procedure and monitoring | Which steps in the plan are included in the stated amount? |
| Post-operative follow-up | How is it organised, and what does the quotation provide for it? |
| Remaining clarifications | What should I confirm before making a decision? |
If two quotations do not describe the same steps, the price difference alone does not tell you how they differ. First clarify the contents of each.
